Known by many for her warm, funny, headstrong, and sassy personality, Patricia led a life full of love, service, and devotion to her family. Patricia graduated from Grace New Haven School of Nursing in 1954 and worked for over 40 years. She chose to retire in 1995 from a job she was very proud of, Assistant Director of Nursing at Abbey Delray South Senior Living.
She married Lloyd in 1955, a bond from which sprang her greatest joy and achievements – her five successful children: Lloyd Snyder Jr, Carla Snyder, John Snyder, Gary Snyder and Kathy Webber. Everyone who knows Patricia will remember her joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the taste of Dunkin Donuts coffee and the comfort of pancakes with extra butter or a crispy English muffin with butter and jelly. Patricia found bright moments in TV shows like Gunsmoke, Cheyenne and MASH, and she cherished her vacations to her favorite spot, Cocoa Beach.
She cherished her furry companions, especially Duke, Dusty and Lacie. She enjoyed taking pictures of all the family at every event, even when they wanted her to stop!
Patricia's impact on those she left behind is immeasurable. She will be fondly remembered, deeply missed, and forever loved. Her life was a testament to resilience, warmth, and unwavering devotion to family and community.
