Patricia Wright Woodburn, age 89, died peacefully in Delray Beach, Florida, on October 22, 2021.  Patricia was born in Bellingham, Washington on September 25, 1932. She was an only child cherished by her parents, Celeste Kienast and Frank Eugene Wright Jr., and her grandparents, Emma Rust and John Karl Kienast. Her father Frank followed his father in the Alaska salmon fishing industry for much of his life residing with the family in Seattle, Washington, where Patricia attended St Nicholas School for Girls and the University of Washington. Summers were spent in Alaska, Lummi Island and Bellingham with her grandparents in their wonderful home filled with family and friends.

In 1954, Patricia married Lt. Craig Woodburn, USN, of South Pasadena, California, and had two daughters, Laurie and Susan. They divorced in 1976. Laurie currently resides with her husband, John Dufort in Genoa, Nevada. Susan and her husband, William (Bill) Wiebler, have two sons, Jackson and Charles (Charlie), and reside in Delray Beach, Florida.

Patricia never wasted a pun, had a keen sense of humor and wicked wit. After a long and successful career in real estate sales, Patricia retired from her employment with Pardee Construction in 1995. A few years prior to her retirement, she met and fell in love with Aldous (Ollie) Turner of La Jolla, California. Ollie and Patricia loved tennis, horse races and shows, travel, entertaining, celebrating and spending time with family and friends in La Jolla, Delray Beach and across the country. Every day was an adventure and they spread much joy and laughter that can still be heard wherever they went. After Ollie's death in 2008, Patricia remained in Delray Beach, close to friends, family, and her beloved grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children, grandchildren, and cousins Carlye Teel, Jack and Gary Kienast all residing in the state of Washington. She was blessed with dear friends, Steve Patterson, Louann Fratt, Frimi Alalu, Ann Marie Chamberlain, Carolyn Hilty, Joan and Donald Courtade, and her constant and caring companions Carma and Danci. We are grateful for their love, kindness and compassion over the years.

A graveside service will be held in Bellingham, Washington in the spring of 2022.
