Pearl Lorraine Comeau of Delray Beach, FL passed away on August 4, 2013. Born in Leominster, MA on August 11, 1931 to Carl and Helen (McMillon) and died peacefully at home with Vitas Hospice. Pearl graduated from Leominster High School and attended numerous art classes at Fitchburg Art Museum and Fitchburg State College. She was a long time employee of the City of Leominster, an astute businesswoman and a successful Realtor. Her real passion was art– silversmithing, stained glass and oil painting. She also taught rug braiding in evening school for thirty-five consecutive years. She loved to travel abroad and for the last 20 years she and Paul summered in Maine and wintered in Delray Beach, FL. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of sixty-two years, Paul. She is survived by their two children, Marcia Porter of Delray Beach, FL and Alan Paul Comeau of Leominster, MA; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service and scattering of their ashes will be held in Massachusetts at a future date. The family would like to publicly thank the wonderful VITAS Hospice team #304 for their caring and support. Lorne and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
