Phyllis Mae Stanton, 90, of Boynton Beach and formerly of Chester Nova Scotia, Canada passed away peacefully on June 11, 2017. Phyllis was a member of First Baptist Church of Delray Beach. She was a waitress in several Delray Beach local dining establishments and had many loyal customers. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Claire Corkum; son, Jim Stanton (Heidi) of Boynton Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Jeff Stanton (Niki), Allie Sjaardema (Jason) and three great grandchildren, Jacob and Trey Stanton and Sarah Sjaardema; brother-in-law, Orson Kelly; sisters-in-law, Jean Kelly Lewis and Marilyn Kelly Laird. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband George J. Stanton in 1990.

There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, June 17th from 10:00am – 12:00pm with a 11:00am memorial service at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Chester Nova Scotia at a later date.
