Raymond Joseph Schubert (Ray), 91, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2018.  Ray is survived by his loving wife of over 69 years, Marty, and daughters Lynn and Cathi, grandchildren Wendy, Caitlin and Jessie and great granddaughter Kortney.  Born June 13, 1927, the only child of Raymond and Margaret (Peg) Schubert, Ray was a lifelong musician, playing professionally and later for the enjoyment of his family and friends.  With his excellent sense of fashion Ray not only always looked sharp, but also had a wonderful second career in men's clothing.  Ray's passion was tennis, and the Columbia, SC, tennis scene lost a competitor when he and Marty moved from Columbia to Florida in 1984.

A private service will be held for the family and a celebration of Ray's life for friends and family will be held at a later date.  Any donations should be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL.

Ray's stories and sense of humor will be missed at the Bar Harbour Apartments poolside.
