Regina M. McClenin, born October 13, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on December 4, 2017 at the age of 94. She was the first born of six children to Edward and Anna Marie McGrath.
Regina was a graduate of Bishop McDonald High School in 1941 and proceeded to work at the Internal Revenue Service in Mitchell Field, NY. She married Bill McClenin on April 27, 1946. She then worked as a teacher's aid at John Adams H.S., Queens, NY. She also worked until her retirement at Richmond Hill Savings Bank and then retired to Florida with her husband. She was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Church Ladies Guild and a Eucharistic Minister. She was also the Treasurer of the Activities Committee at Colonial Estates.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Gina and Fil Craver of Macomb, NY and Geri and Tom Bruno of Eloy, AZ; 6 grandchildren: Jennifer (Scott) Moody, Kim (Brian) Szymanoski, Sean (Teresa) McClenin, Kerrianne (Dennis) Iannotta, Christopher Craver and Nichole (Michael) Mancuso; 14 great-grandchildren: Kaylie Steffen, Laureli Moody, Michael and Ben Szymanoski, Devin, Gianna and Will McClenin, Taylor and Anthony Iannotta, Chase and Alexandria Craver, Christopher, Dominic and Anthony Mancuso; 3 great-great-grandchildren: Kerri Hale, Kaius and Kolby Joseph; and daughters-in-law Mary McDevitt and Peg Dolan; one sister Bernice Weir and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by so many more.
Mrs. McClenin is predeceased by her husband William F. McClenin and sons William and Michael McClenin.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 11, 2017 at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 South Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL, at 11:00AM followed by internment at the South Florida National Cemetery at 12:45PM in Lane 5.
