Obituary

Richard Anthony Palladino, of Boynton Beach, FL and formerly of Southington, CT passed away February 8 th 2016 at the age of 82. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Caroline.

Richard will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was the "life of the party." His warmth, unique sense of humor, contagious laugh, and genuine love for life, filled the room.

Richard served in the US Navy from 1950 -1954. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 72 in Southington, CT for 51 years where he served as the Past Commander in 1969. He was the Exalted Ruler of the Southington Elks Lodge in 1991 & 1994. He enjoyed coaching through the years his son's football teams as well as coaching the Southington Post 72 American Legion Baseball Team.

In addition to his wife Caroline, he is survived by his children, Michael Palladino and his wife, Kat, Peter Palladino and his wife, Heidi, Lisa Lajoie and her husband , Mark, Lynne Lawson, Todd Lawson and his wife, Jill; his grandchildren, Rachel, Nicole, Noah, Marianna, Trevor, Patrick, Sydney, Christopher, Devon, Madaline, Trey, and Gabriel; great- grandchildren, Zane, and Jacob; sister Angeline McCormack; brother-in law, Harry Howell and his wife Janet; mother-in law, Sally Howell, predeceased by his brother-in law Robert McCormack.

A Military Service and celebration of Richard's life will be held 11:00 on Friday (please arrive at 10:45), February 26 th in Lane 5 at the South Florida National Cemetery, Route 441, Lake Worth, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trust Bridge Hospice, Bethesda Care Center – In Patient Unit, 2815 South Seacrest Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
