Robert Anthony
Biello
July 18, 1948 – March 14, 2026
Robert Anthony "Bob" Biello of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on March 14, 2026 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He'll be remembered as a kind, patient man who quietly took care of everyone around him.
Bob was born on July 18, 1948 to Marcella (Coleman) and John, who raised their family in Huntington, NY. A proud graduate of Walt Whitman High School, Bob played varsity football and baseball and met the love of his life, Lois (Pucillo), at a Wildcat Teen Night in 1965. A scholar athlete, Bob graduated from Bucknell University where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He served in the Army National Guard for six years and married Lois in 1971.
Bob and Lois settled in Smithtown, New York, where they raised their two daughters. He turned his love for photography into a career, and owned several photography businesses on Long Island. Later in life, Bob earned a Master's Degree in education and taught 5th grade and technology in the Bronx and eventually Florida, where he and Lois moved in 2006. An active member of his community both on Long Island and in Florida, Bob served as a Trustee on the Hauppauge Public School's Board of Education from 1989-1998. He was President of the Board of the Hillsboro Mile Ocean Apartments where he volunteered his time and energy to all causes he felt passionately about.
In retirement, Bob spent his days following global events on the news, mastering the latest technology on his computer, and planning his next travel adventure. Bob took his roles as husband and father to heart, and nothing brought a brighter smile to his face than hearing about the lives of his children and grandchildren of whom he was so very proud.
Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years; his sister, Lisa Houck; his brother-in-law Ron (Christine) Pucillo; daughters Kim (Dan) Sarrosick of Dix Hills, NY and Laura (Tom) Mullen of Westwood, MA, and grandchildren Andrew, Alex, Tommy, Rosie, and Emily. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Jack and Mike, and his brothers-in-law, Cal and Ken. He will be missed dearly by his beloved family, friends, and neighbors.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 NE 4th Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
