Bob Dugas, 98, of Boynton Beach, Florida and formerly of Nashua, New Hampshire, peacefully entered eternity on February 24, 2015. A man of faith, Bob is now joyfully reunited with his Savior, his wife Jeannette (Soucy) Dugas, and so many loved ones. His daughter Carol (Dugas) Woodward and son Bob Dugas and their families, as well as many close friends and family members will dearly miss Bob/Uncle Bob/Pépère but are privileged to have known and loved him during his extraordinary and long life.

Family and friendships were always Bob's top priority; the eldest son of six growing up during the depression era, Bob worked from a young age to help support the family. Along with his brothers, he honorably served his country in World War II. Raised in a French-speaking home, Bob served as a French interpreter during the war. Back at home, Bob was proud of his career with the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission, working his way up from a temporary position to management. Yet, his most significant achievements were as son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Bob and Jeannette retired to South Florida in 1976 and continued to touch lives through their friendships and hospitality. Losing the love of his life in 1988, Bob was also the longest lived of his five beloved siblings. Missing each one, Bob would reminisce often and he looked forward to being together again.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 4pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33436.

In Nashua, New Hampshire: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on
Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 4pm at Bishop Guertin Chapel, 194 Lund Road, Nashua.
