Robert Charles Varone, 93 of Delray Beach, Florida and formally of Forest Hills, New York, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026 at home.

Born on June 10, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, he proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Robert carried that spirit of duty and quiet strength throughout his life. He was a gentleman‘s gentleman. Robert was united in marriage to Clotilde for 68 years. A devoted partnership built on love, faith, friendship and unwavering commitment. A devoted and enthusiastic New York Giants, Mets, and Knicks fan and proud of his Polish and Italian heritage.

He is survived by his loving wife, Clotilde; daughters, Christine, and her partner David Beatty, Anita and her husband John Torres; five grandchildren, John Jr., Kimberly and her husband Jason, Paul and his wife Ting, Alec, Nicholas and his fiancé Cybele; four great grandchildren, Chloe, Arianna, Sophia and Elena, and his nephews James Varone and his wife Tina, Russell Varone and his partner Laurie.

Visitation will be held on on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue (North Federal Highway), Delray Beach, FL 33483. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September, 17, 2026, 11:00AM at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 S. Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484.
