Rocco Anthony Morcone died peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 99 years old.

Rocco was born on January 9, 1927 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Joseph and Josephine Morcone. Rocco was married to Susan Audrey Capasso Morcone,69 years, who passed away 3 days after his death. He is survived by son Michael Rocco Morcone and his wife Marianne and daughter Mary-Beth Infante; grandchildren Mark Infante and his wife Laura, David Infante and his wife Katie Amrhein, Lisa Infante and Matthew Infante; Kathryn Mitchell and her husband Pete, Jessica Fino and Brian Morcone, great grandchildren Rocco Fino, Delta Mitchell and Aelyn Mitchell.

Rocco served in the United States Navy before completing his technical degree in electrical engineering. In 1957, Rocco founded R&S Electric Supply Company in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Rocco was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus.

Rocco was best known for his humble and kind personality, his sense of humor, his sweet and engaging smile, his unending generosity, his hospitality, sincerity and his love for each and every member of his family. Rocco built his life with Susan on the foundation of love, faith, and family, with a healthy dose of fun and laughter.

Rocco loved to ski and travel; he and Susan enjoyed trips to many destinations across the world, and always shared the wonderful stories of people they met and extraordinary places they visited. Rocco had a deep love of all types of music and played the clarinet, the saxophone, the guitar and the mandolin. His mandolin playing led him to be a member of a local Florida Symphony Orchestra for many years.

Rocco had a beautiful heart and spirit, making sure everyone he met felt special and loved. His family will carry him in their hearts and will miss him forever.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, 12:00 PM at Emmanuel Catholic Church,15700 S Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484 followed by entombment with Military Honors at 2:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Mausoleum, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
