Rossella
Muzich
September 16, 1951 – October 15, 2022
Rossella 'Rose' Muzich, 71, of Delray Beach passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Rose is survived by her husband of 48 years: Fred Muzich; daughters: Kelly Alexander and Jessica Dilks; sons-in-law: Stephen Alexander and Christopher Dilks; grandchildren: Liam Alexander, Thatcher Dilks, and Soma Dilks; step-grandchildren: Stephen Alexander, Jr. and Austin Alexander; sister: Loretta Bradica; brothers-in-law: Ned Pavich, Carlo Muzic, and Nick Bradica; nephews and niece: Steven Pavich, Michael Bradica, David Pavich, Christina Bradica, Matthew Muzic, and their families.
Rose is lovingly remembered for her sweet demeanor and willingness to help anyone who asked. It was never a bother for her to go out of her way to do something for someone, especially for those she loved most. Family was always at the top of her list, particularly her children and grandchildren, who she couldn't get enough of. Rose beamed constantly with pride for her daughters and supported their every endeavor. And when it came to the grandkids, no matter the time of day or what was going on, she wouldn't miss a chance to spend time with them. Kindergarten graduations, mornings filled with sports, evening music programs, you name it…she was there…the proudest Nonna in the room.
Rose loved to read, do crosswords puzzles, and was a whiz at Wheel of Fortune. She loved to socialize with friends. Whether it was a simple lunch or an evening at the Kravis Center, she thoroughly enjoyed good company and having fun, particularly on the dance floor. Fred, of course, was her favorite partner. Twisting to the Beatles (her favorite!) or twirling to traditional Croatian tunes…if she felt the beat, she seized the moment.
Rose worked for Connark Company, where she retired after 30 years; through her unwavering loyalty to her employers, she instilled a similar, strong work ethic in both of her daughters. Rose cared deeply for her work family and remained close to them into her final days. When she wasn't at the office, her 'work' continued at home, cooking countless meals over the years and ensuring each room was spotless.
There is so much we will miss about Rose…her smile, her sweet voice, her amazing meals, her enduring love…but we promise to honor her every day by living through her example.
