Sharon Rose Anderson, born March 16, 1952, in Westbury, New York, to Barbara Blythe and Joseph Anderson, was peacefully called home on December 13, 2024, in Delray Beach, Florida.
Sharon was a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. She grew up in Westbury, New York, surrounded by her seven siblings. After graduating from St. Bridget's Elementary, Westbury High School, and Nassau Community College, she embarked on a career as a flight attendant before dedicating herself to raising her two daughters, Kristen and Courtney, on Long Island. Later in life, Sharon found a second calling in real estate, where her charm and genuine care for others earned her success and admiration.
Known for her magnetic presence, Sharon Rose brought joy wherever she went. She was the life of the party, hosting unforgettable gatherings, sharing laughter, and offering a compassionate ear to anyone in need. A true beach lover, she found her greatest peace near the ocean, which remained her sanctuary throughout her life.
Sharon Rose's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her boundless love and generosity. Her life was a testament to selflessness, resilience, and joy.
Sharon Rose faced her Parkinson's diagnosis with quiet courage and grace, inspiring others with her strength and determination to live fully. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her role as grandmother to Emma Grace, Jolie Rose, and Dylan Garland, who brought her immeasurable pride and happiness.
Sharon Rose is survived by her loving daughters, Kristen Feldman (Lance) and Courtney Urrutia (Mathew); her cherished grandchildren; and her siblings, Barbara Anderson Terry, Kathy Anderson Steele, Carol Smith, Joe Anderson, Nancy Whalen, Michael Anderson, and Jean Anderson Goode. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, Delray Beach, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd, Delray Beach, FL 33483.
