Shiela M. Armstrong, 87, of Delray Beach passed away on June 15, 2018, on her dearly departed husband David's birthday.

She is survived by one sister, Marion of England and her children Jon of Reykjavik, Iceland, Margaret  of Birmingham, England, Stephen of Fort Lauderdale and Frank of Boynton Beach; stepdaughter, Beth; stepson, Bruce of California; son-in-laws, Thomas and Dennis; daughter-in-law, Svanny; four grandchildren, Hallsgrimir, Kolla, Samantha and Lucas and eight great grand-children.

Shiela's journey began when she was born in England.  She lived in several countries from Iceland to Indonesia before moving to New York then to Boca Raton, FL in 1958. She was a bank teller for over 30 years before retirement.  She lived through the bombings in England during WWII, survived cancer three times and several other illnesses; all a testament to how resilient a woman she was.  She was a wonderful mother, wife and friend whom will be missed every day.

Shiela will be laid to rest next to her husband of 33 years, David Armstrong at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
