Sigifredo Perez of Delray Beach died peacefully on Friday, March 17th, 2017 at the age of eighty. Mr. Perez is survived by his wife Clara, his daughters Angela and Griselda. As well as his grandchildren Cristina and Alex Kopels. Mr. Perez was born on in Pinar del Rio, Cuba and emigrated to Delray Beach with his wife in 1967. He was the proud owner and operator of S. Perez Lawn Service in Delray Beach for over 40 years. Although he worked very hard, he enjoyed his business and was loyal to his clients. Mr. Perez lived the American dream as a proud naturalized citizen of the United States. He was blessed with a gregarious laugh, an infectious smile, and a kind heart. He lived his life with purposeful simplicity. His love of family, fellowship, and friendship were the key to happiness. However, he also appreciated a good cigar, a shot of whiskey, and a beautiful Florida day. A viewing will be held at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue Delray Beach on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00-10:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 9600 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach. Burial will follow at the Delray Memorial Gardens.
