Susan Audrey Capasso Morcone died peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at almost 94 years old.

Susan was born on November 1, 1932 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Frank and Mary Capasso. Susan was married to the love of her life, Rocco Morcone who died 3 days prior. Susan is survived by her son Michael Rocco Morcone and his wife Marianne and daughter Mary-Beth Infante; grandchildren Mark Infante and his wife Laura, David Infante and his wife Katie Amrhein, Lisa Infante and Matthew Infante; Kathryn Mitchell and her husband Pete, Jessica Fino and Brian Morcone, great grandchildren Rocco Fino, Delta Mitchell and Aelyn Mitchell.

Susan was strongly faithful to the Catholic church and a loving wife for 69 years; she loved her family fiercely and without question. She loved life, loved to laugh, had a playful personality, a quick wit and made every day special for her beloved Rocco and their family.

Susan was married to Rocco in October of 1957. She built her life with Rocco on the foundation of love, faith, and family, with a healthy dose of fun and laughter.

Susan loved to ski and travel; she and Rocco enjoyed trips to many destinations across the world, and always shared the wonderful stories of people they met and extraordinary places they visited. Susan gave her love freely and completely to Rocco and to each of her beloved children and their families. Susan had a deeply loving, kind and caring heart, generous with her time and talent and delicious Italian cooking, and always ready with a helping hand to whoever needed it most.

Susan was always sure that everyone she met felt special and loved. Her family will carry her in their hearts and will miss her forever.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, 12:00 PM at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 S Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484 followed by entombment at 2:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Mausoleum, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
