Teresita A. Cabrera, 88, of Homestead, FL and formerly of Delray Beach, FL passed away on July 30, 2014.
Born on March 26, 1926 in Premont Texas, daughter of Ramon and Apolonia (De Los Santos) Araujo.
Teresita moved to Delray Beach in September of 1964, then moved to Homestead in 1973, where she
worked as a teacher's aide for Dade County School Board until her retirement at age 65. She was
predeceased by her parents, husband Juan, 2 sons Norberto, & Edwardo, grandson Nicholas,
granddaughter Becky, 5 brothers and a sister.
Teresita is survived by her 6 children Emilio (Virginia) Cabrera of Homestead, Norma (Nick) Moreno of
Homestead, Hilda Cabrera of Port St. Lucie, Juan (Yolanda) Cabrera of Lantana, Teresita (Mike) Pitt of
Paducah, KY , Dalia (Ken) Miles of Gladewater, TX, 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4
great great grandchildren. Step daughters Tina, Delfi, Rosie and Viola and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 9AM to 11AM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745
NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic
Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach with burial to follow at the Delray Beach Cemetery.
