Thomas F. Burrows, 87, a 35 year resident of Delray Beach and formerly of Randolph, NJ and Sunrise, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University. Mr. Burrows was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and also actively involved with the Veterans of Foreign War. He is survived by his daughter, Sue Ellen (Glenn) Smith; sons, Robert T. Burrows, Richard R. Burrows and James M. (Lisa) Burrows; granddaughter, Kristy Lynn Burrows (Matt Hoeffer), 3 grandsons, Cameron, Trenton and Brody Burrows; sisters, Rosemary (Peter) Hass and Ann DePew, longtime companion Marjorie Spitzel. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Doris. Internment with military honors will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 1:00PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery, 1724 12th Ave. South, Lake Worth.
