It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Raymond Maccari, on April 19, 2025, in Boca Raton, Florida.

He was born November 20, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois. After attending St Leo High School, he served honorably in the United States Naval Reserve. He then began his career as an apprentice mason in the Chicago area eventually moving on to single family home construction. He married the former Carol Strom on June 18th, 1955.

He then moved his family to South Florida in 1968 where he continued his passion for building and sales of custom homes. Mr. Maccari became synonymous with award winning designs in the premier luxury golf club communities in the Boca Raton area. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his 12 grandchildren, playing golf in the North Carolina mountains, and was club champion at Palm Beach Skeet and Trap.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Carol Maccari, his children Susan Kuntz (William), Judith Harris (Jeffrey), Pamela St. Pierre, Thomas J Maccari (Christine), Jennifer Codella (Peter) as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Boca Care Center Hospice .
