Thomas M. McQuaid, Sr., 67, of Delray Beach and formerly of Key Largo for 10 years, passed away Thursday, April 10 ^th , 2014 with his family by his bedside.  Thomas`s career was self employed custom home services, who loved family time and being out on the water as he was an avid fisherman.  The last 9 years he was employed as lead in Maintenance as he combined his love for family and the Florida waters while assuring others got to experience, dine or shop comfortably at World Wide Sportsman of Islamorada.  He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 50 years, Josephine McQuaid; son, Thomas and his wife Nichole McQuaid, Jr. of Coral Springs; daughter, Angel and her husband Abe Matusof of Boynton Beach; and his two wonderful grandchildren, Aaron McQuaid and Makenzie McQuaid.  A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 19 ^th from 1:00PM–2:00PM with a 2:00PM Memorial Service at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6 ^th Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33483.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
