Vicki (Shroades) Burkland of Delray Beach passed away on Friday, December 4.

A retired RN (from Church Home & Hospital), who turned her energy and love into her flower gardens, decorating her home and beaming with pride over both her daughters' life long achievements; she lived life to her fullest!

During her life she lived in Martinsburg, WV, Hagerstown & Baltimore Maryland, Northern Virginia, Plano, TX, Monmouth Junction, NJ and South Florida , where she touched many peoples lives in a positive way…from neighbors, to the patients she cared for, or the employees she managed, she always did her best, especially when people needed her most.

The daughter of Margaret (Dent) Miltich and Allen T. Shroades, (both deceased); She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert (Bob) Burkland, and two tremendous daughters; Danielle Burkland and Kerri Cook.

She also leaves behind a sister, Brenda Derr, and brothers Michael, Scott and Gary Shroades. Also instrumental in her life, and still living, are her Aunt and Uncle(Carol & Jacob Gruver and their kids, Dana, David and Paula), Dale Cook Jr. ; as well as her Mother-in-Law(Evelyn Burkland) and the entire Burkland family tree.
