Victor Frank Palousek, Jr., 53, of Delray Beach, Florida, and formerly of Austin, Texas, passed away unexpectedly in Florida on September 18, 2013. Vic was born September 6, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. After the death of his father on July 4, 1972, he moved to Austin with his Mother in 1973.
Vic attended the University of Texas, and began his career in Austin with Cable Terminal Services. His career took him to California, back to Texas with Siemens, and eventually to Florida where he worked for Nokia Siemens until a recent reorganization aligned him with Atos, serving as an Active Directory Global Service Delivery Manager.
Vic was a 3rd Degree Member of the Round Rock, Texas Knights of Columbus Council #12148 and a member of The KJT (Katolická Jednotá Texaská) fraternal Catholic Union of Texas Society #55 of Corn Hill, Texas.
His father, Victor Frank Palousek, Sr., preceded Vic in death in 1972. Vic is survived by his mother, Louise Zrubek Palousek of Austin, Texas, sister and brother-in-law Susan Marie Palousek Harding and William Harding, Jr., of McKinney, Texas, and sister Constance Ann Palousek Hicks of Austin, Texas, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation hours and a rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, with Rosary at 7:00PM, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Stephen Nesrsta at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8626 FM 1105, Jarrell, Texas, followed by burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
