Vincenza
Bascietto
August 25, 1936 – October 12, 2022
Vincenza Bascietto passed away in Boynton Beach on October 12, 2022 at 12:49 PM at the age of 86. She is survived by her husband, Orazio Bascietto of 64 years. They were married in Paterson, New Jersey on July 27, 1958.
Vincenza is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Angelina Bascietto and Nunziata Bascietto, her grandchildren Amanda Burmaster, Kevin Burmaster and his wife, Stacey, Teresa Fernandez, and her husband, Nelson, Daniel Ribeiro and Matthew Ribeiro, her great grandchildren Joaquin and Luca Fernandez, Omaha and Giotto Angelone, and her sisters, Josephine Caputo and Maria Clara Bascietto and her husband Joseph Bascietto.
Vincenza Bascietto lived her life in service to her family and loved ones. She showed her incredible love through cooking and family dinners. She had a huge and glorious spirit and often gave her things to anyone who needed.
Her smile was infectious and she often spent her Saturdays cleaning and singing, so that the neighbors who heard her beautiful voice would comment, "What channel is that?" Vincenza enjoyed crocheting for all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and grand-dogs, she loved crossword puzzles, her iPad, listening to Italian YouTube, movies and painting. Every afternoon you could find her out on her front patio talking to her neighbors and joking around.
We will miss her meatballs, arancini, homemade pasta, chicken cutlets, scaccia, meat sauce, and everything that came out of her kitchen- she always made with "her heart". Amongst everything that she was, Vincenza was first and foremost a loving wife, mother grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed tremendously.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM with a 1:30PM Funeral Service at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483. Burial will follow at the Boynton Beach Cemetery, 1611 S Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
