Virginia Rae (Auvil) Noon, 77 of Delray Beach passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Vitas Healthcare Hospice in Delray Beach, Florida, after a battle with cancer.

Virginia, a beloved wife and mother, is survived by her loving husband Patrick, her five adoring children, Michele King, Suzanne Frazier, Patrick J Noon IV, Jennifer Matterazzo, and Cynthia Bernard, her 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her mother, Rose Auvil, her brother, John Auvil and sister, Stella Shelby.

Born on October 27,1943 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, to Rose and Ray Auvil, Virginia grew up in Republic, Pennsylvania where she later married her high school sweetheart, Patrick J Noon.  Together they began raising their family in Fairbank, Pennsylvania. Later, as the family grew, they moved to Pittsburgh where Virginia, along with the busy job of rearing a family, became a very successful real estate agent.  As their family grew and began to spread their wings, Virginia and Patrick relocated to Florida where Virginia became an avid golfer and with her husband began buying, restoring, and reselling residential properties. Virginia always had a talent for interior design and decorating which she put to good use in this endeavor.  With retirement years approaching Virginia and Patrick relocated to Delray Beach, Florida where they began to enjoy their remaining years together.

Virginia was truly a loving and caring woman, she loved to travel, tending to her many flowering plants and orchids, and attending many charitable and art events.  She supported and contributed to several Autism charity fundraisers. She was loved and respected by all with whom she made an acquaintance. She loved God, her husband, her children, and grandchildren.  Virginia always had a unique way of making everyone with whom she met feel at ease and appreciated.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM with a 3:00PM scripture service at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue, (North Federal Highway), Delray Beach, FL 33483.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 5, 2021, 10:00AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33483.  Burial services will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
