Walter "Hack" Allen's Obituary
Walter Hackney Allen, 92, of Delray Beach, passed away on November 24, 2016. "Hack" was a life-long resident of Delray Beach. On his 20th birthday, Hack was the Command Pilot on a B24 bombing the Empire of Japan. He was a lifelong member of and well known Bible teacher at the First Baptist Church of Delray Beach.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Althea Allen and by numerous nieces and nephews as well as Great and Great Great nieces and nephews. Hack is predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Gloria Allen who passed away on September 10, 2016.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Delray Beach 16333 S. Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Delray Beach.
