It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Warren J. Hanna of Delray Beach, Florida and formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 7, 2023.

Warren will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit.  He was a loving son and a cherished brother and uncle.  He was born in Philadelphia on October 25, 1932 to Warren and Mary (Brady) Hanna.  He lived in Philadelphia, Lansdowne and Upper Darby until moving to Delray Beach, Florida in 2000.  Warren was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and had a long career with SEPTA.  He was a diehard Philadelphia sports fan.  He loved to dance - especially at family weddings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings; John Hanna, Margaret Freedman and Joseph Hanna.  Also preceded by in laws Joanne Hanna, Harold Freedman, John Hodge and his niece Susan Hodge.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Hodge, his sister-in-law Audrey Hanna-Sanders, and his nieces and nephews Laurie Colello, Barbara O'Donnell, Jacqueline Taranto, Donna Borgstrom, Denise Clutter, Deborah Kaufman, Joanne Balchunas, John Hodge, Jennifer DiMasi, Chris Hanna and Ashley Hanna.
