William H. "Bill" Lorne, 62, of Palm Beach Gardens and Manchester, Connecticut passed away on April 1, 2017 after a brave battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 12, 1954 in West Palm Beach, FL.  He was a 1968 graduate of St. Vincent Ferrer School in Delray Beach, a 1972 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach and a 1974 graduate of Palm Beach Junior College in Lake Worth.  Bill was employed by the Fountain's Department Stores and later became their clothing buyer.  He later opened his own clothing stores, "Such A Deal" in Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter. Bill also became a licensed antique appraiser and antique dealer. In 2002, Bill and Michele became part time residents of Manchester, CT.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Michele, adoring daughters Kelley and husband Jeff Potrekus of Palm Beach Gardens and Amy Lorne & fiance Timothy Lubinsky of Alameda, CA, parents Bill and Nancy Lorne of Boynton Beach, FL, siblings and spouses Cathy & Mark Snow of Roseland, FL, Michael & Mary K. Lorne of Delray Beach & Patrick & Joan Lorne of Delray Beach, FL along with numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his sister Deborah Lorne in 1956.

Friends may call on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street, Manchester, CT.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 8, 2017, 9:30AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Danbury, CT with burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
