William Joseph Kelly, aged 91, passed away peacefully at his residence at the Life Space Community of Abbey Delray South in Delray Beach, Florida on September 21, 2016. He is survived by a large and loving family including daughters Ellen Kelly Donati and husband Joseph Donati (Madison, NJ), Anne Marie Kelly and husband Alexander Welch (Princeton, NJ), sons Peter Kelly (Yonkers, NY) and William Kelly and wife Lorie Mulholland Kelly (Ardsley, NY). Bill will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Deanna, Liza, Joseph, Cameron, Ryan, Michael, Joy and his great grandchildren Ava, Sophia, Ryder, Logan, Makayla, Emmanuel and Owen Charles. Bill was a retired New York City fireman who chose Florida as his home almost 30 years ago. He loved the weather, the people and the ocean. He had been widowed for the past seven years and cherished the memory of his wife, Marie Rohan Kelly.


A memorial service is planned for the Veteran's Day weekend in Madison, NJ. Local friends remembered him in a small prayer circle on Saturday, September 24th.
