William D. Kerr, 89, of Boynton Beach, FL, and formerly of Annapolis, MD passed away on May 14th, 2024. Mr. Kerr was predeceased by his wife Billie R. Kerr in 2016. He was born on May 2nd 1935 in Woodbury, NJ.

Mr. Kerr was a successful entrepreneur and founded the Kerr Company in 1974. This firm won many national awards and was a leader in the Home Center Industry. His company won multiple national awards and was a leader in the Home Center Industry. He loved boating. Mr. Kerr was a dedicated Mason and supported the Shriners for his adult life. Mr. Kerr served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Kerr is survived by his three children Lynne Powell (husband Mark) of Sarasota, FL; Christie Kajs (husband Louis) of Severna Park, MD; and William David Kerr, Jr. (wife Nilda) of Burlington, VT; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A private memorial will be held in his honor in Annapolis, MD at a later date. Donations in Mr. Kerr's memory would be requested to be sent to The Shriner's Children's Hospital .
