William J. Kevetos, loving husband of Joyce A. Kevetos, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026 at home in Delray Beach, FL. William (Bill) is predeceased by his mother, Catherine Donaghue Kevetos of Hartford, CT and he will be greatly missed by his beloved daughter, Aimee Richmond of Ellington CT. He also leaves behind two grandsons, three great grandchildren, a loving sister, Barbara Faraclas of Weatogue, CT, two nephews, and many cousins and friends.

William was born on September 29, 1946 and grew up in Windsor Locks, CT. After high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge from the marines, Bill continued his education obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hartford. He worked for Aetna Insurance as a financial analyst, then after retiring in 1993, he relocated to Florida. He continued to study finance and was recognized by the American College as a Chartered Financial Consultant, and opened his own business, Absolute Financial. Shortly after his second retirement, Bill continued to guide and inspire students by working p/t as a finance/business tutor at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.

William was an avid fan of the Red Sox, and UConn basketball. He especially enjoyed designing and working in his garden, remodeling his home, traveling, and enjoying early evening picnics at the beach with his wife Joyce. His family, neighbors, and friends will remember him greatly for his good nature, kindness, and polite ways. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A Military Burial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, 12:30 PM at South Florida National Veteran’s Cemetery, 6501 S State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449 in Lane #1.
