William Hollis Peirce of Delray Beach, FL and Rangeley, ME passed away on March 10, 2012. He was born on July 9, 1925 in Chestnut Hill, PA to E. Converse Peirce and Gertrude (nee Hollis) Peirce. Bill attended William Penn Charter School and graduated from Deerfield Academy, M.I.T. and the University of Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife, Jamesina; 4 children, Daniel C. (Beverly) Peirce of Lincoln, MA, William K. (Jan) Peirce of Sugar Loaf, NY, Holly (Sean Pratt) Peirce of Barbados, Kittson P. (David) Steinberger of Astoria, NY; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, 101 Homewood Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33445.
