William "Santa" Rego of Lantana passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 75.

Bill was born in Reedsburg, WI.  He moved to Florida in 1972 and began his proud career as a driver-engineer for Delray Beach Fire Rescue, serving his community for 30 years before retiring.

After retirement, Bill enjoyed spending time with his children and visiting his favorite "watering holes".

He is survived by his two children, Kaitlynn (Rego) Palma and Rory Rego.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, George and Genevieve Rego and his siblings; Larry Rego, Virginia (Rego) Schyvinck, and Jerry Rego.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue (North Federal Highway), Delray Beach, FL 33483.
