William Ellis Sowers, 76, of Delray Beach went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2021. He was born November 26, 1944 in Lynchburg, Virginia to William Ira Sowers and Ruth Sowers. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diana Sowers, daughter Rebecca Stellino and her husband Frank Stellino, son Joseph Sowers and his wife Christine Sowers, grandchildren Cosmo, Zenaida, Brady, Xander and Theo, as well his sister Laverne Sowers. He was predeceased by another sister, Louise Sowers. In addition to his immediate family, William is survived by his mother-in-law, Helen Perez, sister-in-law Patty Taylor and her husband Lonnie Taylor, nephew Steven Taylor, his wife Skye Taylor and their two children Kainoa and Palani as well as nephew Adam Taylor.

He served in the Army Reserves until he and Diana started their family, worked for BellSouth for 35 years before retiring in 2000 and enjoyed woodworking, reading, music and genealogy. But above all, his passions were loving the Lord, adoring his wife, and spending time with his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach, 301 N Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33435 .
