Louis Matarazzo, 94, of Delray Beach, and formerly a United States Air Force retiree and honorably discharged, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. Lou Matarazzo was predeceased by his daughter, Dolores Skaare, in 2013, and by his son, Dominick Matarazzo, in 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Elsie Matarazzo, daughter Debi Coons, son Roy Matarazzo, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Lou cared for his family immensely and fought for his country. Lou's heart, soul, loving memory, and legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, 10:30 AM, at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd, Delray Beach, FL 33483.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at 12:30 PM at South Florida National Cemetery (Lane 1), 6501 S State Rd 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to cancer research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , a cause that is deeply meaningful to them.
